The graduating class of the Philippine Military Academy this year [2012] is Tom Puertollano, son of a carpenter from Batangas who offered his success to the memory of his late mother who passed away last August due to pancreatic cancer.

Puertollano received 11 awards including the first ever Spanish Armed Forces Award and he plans to serve the Philippine Army after graduation.

Success is really sweet if there is an inspiration and for Puertollano who wants to have a better future in the absence of his mother with the help of his carpenter father, he can really soar high and the people who have lived a simple life can really enjoy sweeter success than those who already have more fortune in life. Congratulations to Puertollano.
