Toni Gonzaga renews her contract to ABS-CBN in spite of many big showbiz personalities switching to other networks like Sharon Cuneta and Aga Muhlach. Toni remains to be a Kapamilya for another 3 years. Rumors that Toni is joining her sister to TV 5 is no longer a rumor.
“Yes, mananatili akong Kapamilya. Ever since I became an ABS-CBN artist, lahat ng mga pangarap ko natupad. Singing, hosting, TV, movies. So far, lahat naman ng mga pangarap ko natupad,” Toni told members of the press at her contract signing at the ABS-CBN compound.

In attendance were ABS-CBN executives Charo Santos-Concio, Cory Vidanes, Linggit Tan, Louie Andrada and Toni’s mother and manager Pinty Gonzaga.
Toni is about to have another television drama series as she continues to be a host to PBB Unlimited and Happy Yipee Yehey!
For an artist who became so in demand and successful to a network, I think there is no reason for Toni to switch to networks since she is getting a nice career in ABS-CBN. I think the only COMMON reason that will make a successful artist to switch networks is a BIG money offer.
For artist that are not so successful for a network, switching is easy to find greener pasture. But as artist that has succeeded dramatically, BIG offer isn't easy to turn down. Well, it was a nice decision for Toni but if ever she will switch network, let us just watch if her career will boom or fail. For now, she is having a good life being a Kapamilya.
