Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao loses a title over Timothy Bradley at the recently concluded fight at the MGM Grandstand.
A report from Reuters said that the judges may have seen it differently, but post-fight punch statistics show that Manny Pacquiao got the better of Timothy Bradley in their fight Sunday at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
Statistics from Compubox reveals that Pacquiao landed 190 of 493 shots compared to just 108 of 390 punches for Bradley. Bradley won the fight through a split decision.
Pacquiao said that he was surprised by the fight given by Bradley.
“Manny’s a beast, he’s got fast hands, he hurt me a couple of times in the fight,” said Bradley.
Bradley admitted that he was hurt a couple of times by Pacman's punches.
Anne Curtis was long gone without the fans knowing where she has been. Anne Curtis on her twitter said that she will be gone but left no clue. Now, Anne Curtis has confirmed in one of her recent tweets that she is indeed shooting a Hollywood film.

The temporary goodbye of Anne from it's showtime family and viewers resulted to a bigger career opportunity for her Hollywood crime thriller “Blood Ransom.” It is directed by Fil-Am Francis dela Torre, who also wrote the screenplay.
Anne also tweeted that she is shooting the movie in California. "On my way to the set! Looks like its going to be another long night! Im always so excited though! #BloodRansom," Anne said.
Anne said that she was so tired yet happy, as reported by TV Patrol.
In line with the developing issue that Arnold Clavio's Statement about the Philippine Football Team during the GMA Network's morning show Unang Hirit, the network made a response to the Philippine Football Federation.
According to the letter sent by the network, they have no direct intervention as to the comments of Arnold Clavio on the show and that the comments of the said host does not represent the side of the network.
However, GMA Network tells that they didn't see anything racist, libelous or malicious about the statement of Arnold Clavio because it is his right to voice out his opinions in public being a media personality which is protected by the Constitution.
The network further said that the issue of sexual harassment of the Azkals is a sensitive issue that needs to be given an attention and it is the right as the host to give their comments. GMA added that whether or not they agree with the host's comments, they respect the opinion of the host because it a freedom protected by the law.

Philippine Daily Inquirer, apologizes before the public for publishing photos on their front page that offended their readers.
The man in the controversial front page photo is Demetrio Vicente, a witness for the defense team of the Corona impeachment trial.
“It has come to our attention that our photo of witness Demetrio Vicente on our front page today has offended some of our readers. For this we sincerely apologize. It was not our intention to disparage Mr. Vicente in any way,” Inquirer said on its official Facebook account.
The front page photo featured four (4) photos of Demetrio Vicente in a not-so-good poses with the caption: Character witness: The many faces of Demetrio Vicente on the witness stand. He’s no ordinary witness after all. He’s the cousin of the Chief Justice whose wife sold him seven parcels of land in 1990, where he now grows bonsai.
The photos show asymmetry in his face which is the result stroke, he previously undergone with. Vicente even apologized before the senate for being not able to talk clearly because of his condition.
After the photo gone viral on the web, netizens didn't find the photos on the front page good and they claim it to be insensitive, malicious, etc.
Inquirer replied in one of the comments posted on social networking site Twitter, saying “the point was we didn’t find it funny nor was it our intention to make fun. Those were the only photos available.”
Media watchdog Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility deemed that Inquirer violated their own rules and it was a violation of the ethical mandates of responsible journalism.

The results of the 28th Star Awards for movies has been released and Angel Locsin, Aga Muhlach and ER Ejercito owned the night.
Angel Locsin and Aga Muhlach are the best actress and best actor respectively who both starred in the movie In the Name of Love. Olivia Lamasan and Enrico Santos, also won the award as "movie screen writer of the year" for the the same movie.
Meanwhile, ER Ejercito tied with Aga Muhlach for the Best Actor Award in the movie Manila Kingpin, The Asiong Salonga Story. Asiong Salonga Movie also won the best picture award.

The GMA TV Host and News anchor Arnold Clavio is being bombarded by many criticisms from netizens due to his allegedly irresponsible comments about the Philippine Football Team Azkals.
Clavio, on a segment on GMA's morning show Unang Hirit, released comments about the sexual harrasment issue being faced by some of the members of Azkals. Netizens regard the comments of Clavio as racist.
“Hindi ko kaya ka-kultura, kasi wala dito (points to his heart) at wala dito (points to his head),” Clavio said.
“Hindi naman kayo Pilipino, nagpapanggap lang kayong kayumanggi, hindi kayo dito lumaki, mahirap iyun.”
“Hiwalay naman ito sa kanilang ginagawang pakikipaglaban, kaya good luck na lang sa inyong susunod na laban,” added Clavio.

His comments that some members of the Azkals are not Filipinos ignited the fire of discussion in the social networking sites. Some famous personalities also gave Clavio a response.
Actress Angel Locsin, the reported girlfriend of Azkals star striker Phil Younghusband, also gave her insights.
“I think Arnold Clavio’s a good person. But this time, sobrang foul lang. That’s his opinion. This is mine. Madali lang sumira ng reputasyon, mahirap ibalik. Konting sensitivity lang sana,” she wrote on her Twitter account.

On this issue, Arnold Clavio was just exercising his freedom of speech as a media man but it seemed that it hurt a lot of Filipinos, Azkals fans and the Azkals themselves.
I can see a point with the statement of Clavio that Azkals does not carry the Filipino culture because as we all know they grew up outside the country.

The Philippine Football Team Azkals will be entering the semi-finals of the AFC Challenge Cup held currently in Kathmandu Nepal after a 2-1 win defeating Tajikistan.
Younghusband made a goal in the 53rd minute of the game while Guirado scored on a diving header in the 80th minute that pushed the Azkals to winning.
The Philippine Azkals take on Turkmenistan in the semis set on Friday.
Every Azkal fan is now really excited including the whole Philippine nation because this is a milestone for the Philippine football team.
The game becomes more exciting as the Azkals pushes through the finals. Azkal lost their first game over North Korea but won over India on the second game which kept them away to be eliminated and be able to face Tajikistan on Friday.
